Anthony Njengah
I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC, DNP, ARNP) providing comprehensive mental health care to adults in outpatient settings. With clinical experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and serious mental illness, I focus on psychiatric assessment, medication management, and psychotherapeutic interventions.
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice and PMHNP training at the University of South Alabama, building on my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington and over two decades as a Registered Nurse in inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, and acute care settings.
My patient-centered, trauma-informed approach prioritizes cultural humility, shared decision-making, and holistic care that addresses both mental and physical health needs. I am committed to fostering nonjudgmental, stigma-free environments where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered in their care.
My professional interests include integrated behavioral health, health equity, and the intersection of chronic medical conditions with mental health. I embrace lifelong learning to stay current with advances in psychiatric care. Outside of work, I enjoy competitive racquetball and traveling.
